Mechanic: Industrial Machinery work focuses on installing, repairing, maintaining, dismantling, and moving large and/or complex stationary manufacturing equipment including: . Leveling, aligning and installing industrial machinery (e.g., conveyors, tram rails, engines, turbines, production equipment, etc.) on foundations/base plates using hand and power tools . Dismantling/moving machinery/equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks . Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.) . Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts An Entry Para-Professional (S1) is an entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. .
