H-E Parts International Mining Solutions, Cooling Division Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated, organised and reliable individual to fill our Senior Radiator Service / Repair Technician role at our Forrestdale Branch.  This role will be responsible for the service and repair of radiators, Oil Coolers, Charge air coolers and other associated products in line with H-E Parts work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and QA standards.  Our aim is to provide the best customer service through an empowered, talented, and responsive team.   • Work in a safe manner whist being vigilant of others actions and reporting hazards;
  • Carry out reasonable instructions given by the Workshop Supervisor;
  • Carry out radiator and cooler repairs and rebuilds as instructed;
  • Record times spent on jobs and other details of jobs as required;
  • Follow the quality system and complete all paperwork;
  • Contribute to the process of continuous improvement with suggestions for reducing waste and improving quality and efficiency;
  • Contribute to WHS by working with the WHS committee and reporting all incidents diligently;
  • Provide leadership and assist with the training of new staff and other team members as required by the Workshop Supervisor;
  • Complete quality inspections in line with the documented Quality System;
  • Provide direction and supervision including appropriate inspections for other workers within your area;
  • Maintenance of equipment within work area;
  • Maintain a tidy and efficient of work area;
  • Conduct Occupational Hazard Assessment’s with team members;



  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar position;
  • Forklift
  • Knowledge of current OH&S legislation and best practice;
  • Sound knowledge of workshop procedures;
  • Ability to use and maintain workshop equipment;
  • Advanced Numeracy skills, having the ability to use these skills with weight, volume and distance measurements;
  • Able to plan, develop and maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems;
  • Able to work in busy conditions, subject to tight timeframes and with competing demands;
  • Computer literate with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Soldering (Repairs and Core Overhauls);
  • Disassemble and reassemble bolt up radiators;



  • Trade certificate in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication
  • Conduct Steel and Aluminum welding repairs;
  • Dogger
  • Prep and paint to customer standards.
  • Working at heights
  • First Aid
