Field Service Technician work focuses on installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations including: •Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment •Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions •Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced •May provide onsite training for customer support personnel An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: • Works under moderate supervision. • Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
