POSITION SUMMARY: A painter is responsible the safe cleaning, finishing and painting of radiators, coolers, cooling packages, frames and any other items as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Familiarisation with all available job related information (scopes of work, maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, parts lists etc). Clean, prepare and paint items in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Record information as required or as detailed in scopes of work/job routes. Supply relevant information to enable the Branch Manager or Salesperson to provide a costing for the customer. Develop and ensure adherence to HEPIMS standards and practices. Ensure special processes are carried out to specification Notify supervisor of any nonconformance The specific position description of the employees function within the organisation gives a general indication of the duties to be performed, however, the duties are not be considered restrictive and are not be limited to those listed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Must be trade qualified with 3 to 5 years’ experience Introduction to Intermediate Computer skills Understanding of Safe Operating Procedures PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work with or without supervision Ability to problem solve PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the accountabilities of the job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving objects (materials handled and transported throughout the plant via cranes, fork trucks and other employees).
